Hi, I’m Kori.
I came to birth work through my own lived experience.
Both of my children were born at home with a licensed midwife. Those births shaped me in ways I am still unfolding. They showed me the power of the female body, the importance of safety and trust, and how deeply a woman’s nervous system influences her birth experience.
I did not have a doula.
At the time, I didn’t fully understand what that support could look like. I didn’t realize how valuable it would have been to have a steady, grounding presence devoted solely to me. Someone to tend to my emotional landscape. Someone to help regulate the room. Someone to witness the transformation.
I also wish I had documented those births. Not for perfection or performance, but to remember. To honor the intensity, the surrender, the strength, and the becoming that happened in those moments.
Those reflections stayed with me.
Over time, they became a quiet calling.
I am a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, and my background in breath, body awareness, and nervous system regulation naturally wove its way into birth support. I understand how safety lives in the body. How breath can soften fear. How presence can change everything.
My role as a doula is not to lead your birth, fix anything, or take control.
My role is to walk beside you with steady presence.
To support you emotionally, physically, and mentally.
To help you feel safe, informed, and deeply supported as you trust your body and your instincts.
I support planned home births attended by licensed midwives, honoring the sacredness of birth within the home environment.
I am here because I know how powerful birth can be.
And I know how different it feels when you are not alone.

Philosophy
Birth is not something to control.
It is something to trust.
Your body knows how to birth.
My role is to help you trust it.
